Who We Are



Chicago Web Management uses a scaleable, virtual team which keeps down our costs to you. However, every project is personally supervised by one or both of the principals of our organization. Each principal has over 6 years of web development expertise, with clients ranging in size from Fortune 500 international corporations to sole proprietorships. Regardless of size, all clients receive direct, personal attention.

Patrick ElwardPatrick Elward
A third generation Chicagoan, Patrick has worked in client services for almost 15 years. An early advocate of the internet, Patrick has been actively developing web sites since 1995 and is certified as a Dreamweaver MX Professional Developer. This certification proves a professional level of skills in web development and site management. Patrick is also a CIW Certified Internet Webmaster. Career highlights include working on the launch of iDine.com, a multi-million dollar spinoff from Transmedia ("Dining A La Card"), driving Torque creative into the interactive Launch firm that it is today, and saving 3Com's CommWorks (now UTStarcom) over $10,000 annually in web development costs with innovative programming (removing frames and adding server-side includes). Recent projects completed include work for A Fortune 500 Insurance Company , Hewitt , another Insurance Company and the City of Chicago Committee on Finance.

Previously, Patrick was Assistant Service Manager for a Top 100 Motorcycle Retail center in Lake County and General Manager of Redline Cycle Service in Skokie. An avid motorcyclist and world traveller, Patrick follows MotoGP, World Superbike and AMA Superbike class racing series.

Dave RodmanDave Rodman  
Dave is our Creative Director and he enjoys helping our clients achieve their maximum potential on the web. He has over ten years experience developing web sites and over twenty years as a professional graphic designer. Dave's forte is programming easy-to-use web tools, especially dynamically driven ones to allow administrators to manage their own content.

Its rare to find a designer who knows development, let alone database development, but Dave is one of the best. Contact us for a demo of our top-secret tools that we've developed for clients. Melanie Ann Ceraso deDonMelanie Ceraso
Melanie has worked professionally as a web designer/digital artist since 1995. Her career grew from a childhood love of the arts as well as her natural creative urges. Working as a web designer is a dream that she continually builds upon. It is her passion and her life. Her experience with corporate as well as small business web development and design work covers the spectrum of web design including; creative concepting, usability testing, application/site wireframes, user interface design, and implementing the right blend of technology to design the optimal user experience for your web site.

Melanie’s work on her personal site was featured in the Typography, Navigation and Color books from the Website Graphics Series published by Rockport Publishers in December 1998. Her personal site has also won a variety of Industry Design Awards including the 1999 New Media Invision Bronze Award for Personal Site, featured as the ProjectCool Site of the Day in 1998, 1999, and 2000, featured as the Project Cool Best Personal Site of the Year in 1999 and awarded 2nd Place in the 1999 Digital Chicago Best of the Web Awards.



Eric AmptmeyerEric Amptmeyer
Eric is our resident ASP & PHP Expert. He codes Content Management Systems, Database, Photo Galleries and other fun, dynamic stuff. His specialty is custom web-based applications.

Eric was born in Harvey, and has lived in the greater Chicago area for most of his life. He attended college at Purdue University in West Lafayette. His field of studies included mathematics, programming and electrical engineering technology. Eric spent 10 years in San Diego during the dot com boom of the late 90's, which is where he gained most of his work experience in the field of corporate web development.

Brent Billock  
Brent is the flash guru for Chicago Web Management and has been developing web sites since 1997. His previous stints included time at Hal Riney Advertising (Top-50 firm in USA) and Ala Carte Entertainment (Chicago's largest nightclub/restaurant company, owners of Excalibur, Magnum's and 16 other restaurants and nightclubs). Brent has a business degree from Adrian college and is originally from Detroit.

In addition, Brent has created compelling web content, CD-ROMs, and DVD-ROMs for a variety of clients including Kraft Foods, Kellogg's Crescent Cardboard, Cartoon Network, AOL, Allegra, Dodge and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
