  10. Select winning bid and begin Web Development

The web development process (or redevelop)

  1. Outline site map
  2. Prioritize areas and purpose of each page
  3. Develop HTML based on coding needs (PHP, ASP, CFM, HTML)
  4. Integrate or develop database (SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
  5. Design images and site template ("look and feel")
  6. Create placeholders and insert client-supplied content
  7. Agree on final design and apply

  9. Test all pages (proofread content)
  10. Test all links, ensure compliance within different browsers
